AiMF - AiMF07
It was held from 21st - 27th July, 2007 at St. Andrews Auditorium, Bandra. The weeklong Anniversary Festival included Free Salsa & Flamenco workshops and Latin & American Ballroom Dance Competitions at Squeeze, Khar, where the annual AiMF trophies were handed out to four couples who won.
The highlight of the festival was undoubtedly, Dance with Joy, Challenging arthritis, embracing life, a unique show in the history of dance. It was a spectacular show of true grit & sheer spirit put together by the Arts in Motion Dance Studio, who set out to prove that joyously dancing spirit can sweep away everything in its wake, including pain.
This show was also a unique platform for a wide variety of Indian and international dances like Egyptian Belly Dance, Spanish Flamenco, Afro- American Jazz and Hiphop and Indian Bollywood - in modern & classical form, presented by different trainers & students, all under the ages of a single dance institution – Arts in Motion.
